TELL BILLIONARIES: PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE
While essential workers have worked for poverty wages and fought for basic protections like PPE, billionaires have made $4.2 trillion underpaying essential workers. While nurses and allied health professionals have put our lives on the line to care for members of the communities that we live in, billionaires continue to cut staffing and increase our workloads, while doing everything in their power to address recruitment but fail us miserably regarding retention. Instead of paying us they dodged taxes and bought space rockets. It’s time to unrig our tax system and that starts by taxing the extreme wealth gains of America’s 700+ billionaires. We’re paying our fair share, so should they!
