Nurse Alliance H1N1 Classes a Success

Nurses Learn How to Educate Others at Their Facilities

H1N1 train the trainer smallerThe SEIU Nurse Alliance of California held two H1N1 'train the trainer' classes in October. Nurses from Local 1021 participated in a session in San Francisco on October 5th, and on October 15th the Southern California classes were attended by nurses from Locals 721, 121RN and UHW. Nurses in attendance received the latest information on airborne transmissible diseases (ATD) standards, and the best ways to protect against the spread of the H1N1 virus. Attendees also earned 7 Continuing Participation Units (CEUs) for their time well spent.
