Our deepest condolences to those suffering from the tragedy on December 2

Nurse Alliance of California extends deepest condolences to those suffering from the tragedy on December 2, 2015.

We at SEIU Nurse Alliance of California, and our thirty-five thousand Registered Nurses, send our most heartfelt condolences to the families and friends who lost loved ones in the recent tragedy in San Bernardino, California. To those who were injured and traumatized, we express our greatest concern and hopes for a prompt and full recovery.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time.

This tragedy shocked us all and no words can express our sorrow.

Many of the people who were injured or whose lives were suddenly and senselessly taken were members of SEIU Local 721, part of our Nurse Alliance of California. We are very deeply saddened for the loss of such dedicated people who shared their skills and compassion to improve health and quality of life for their patients and community.  Their service to the public was invaluable.

In support of SEIU Local 721 and all those directly affected by this event, we stand strong with the many others who have expressed their condolences in your time of healing, and are committed to forging ahead to affect greater safety in the workplace.

With our deepest sympathy,

Ingela Dahlgren, RN

Exucutive Director, Nurse Alliance of California
