On Monday, September 9, 2013, SEIU Nurse Alliance of California and SEIU Local 121RN are co-sponsoring a training on OSHA recordkeeping. The class will be held at SEIU Local 121RN in Pasadena (1040 Lincoln Avenue) from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.
This class is an introduction to Cal/OSHA recordkeeping forms and their uses. It will focus on the forms and logs that employers use to report workplace injuries, as well as how health and safety committees use those records to analyze and develop safety guidelines.
The class will be led by Richard Negri, Health and Safety Director for SEIU Local 121RN. Cal/OSHA Region 4 Manager Debra Lee will be attending the class to answer questions. This class has been approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider number CEP 14634 for 4.0 contact hours). The cost is $10. Lunch will be served.
